Terms of Membership / Terms of Use
1. You are the wife of a man employed (full time or part time) in some way as a Minister of the Gospel of Christ, OR who is actively studying to make the ministry his vocation. This includes, of course, missionaries, ministers of music, children, youth, adults, etc. We are in no way concerned simply with titles or hours worked, but that those who are joining us are "walking along the same road" in a sense. If you feel you fit this group, but your 'status' isn't listed above, please complete the Registration Form, and include an explanation in your "Comments".
2. You must supply us with a correct e-mail address where we can reach you. Any accounts opened with an invalid address will be deleted. If you have simply made an error in typing, or have a different address that is useable, email the Moderators with your explanation. We do this to eliminate use of our boards by possible spammers or advertisers. The email address is kept confidential and used only for confirming your registration details and password, for sending new passwords should you forget your current one and for administrative communications.
3. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.
4. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. We are actually a fun & loving bunch that simply wants to see that everyone is extended courtesy and the grace of God..
5. You agree to any information you have entered in your application being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the online data being compromised. This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above, they serve only to improve your viewing experience.
6. While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable. Violators of the above Terms of Use may expect the forum moderators to follow steps listed below, based on Matthew 18:15-17.
7. As a member of the PW Cabin, you agree not to share your username or password. Anyone found logging into another member's account, attempting to break into another member's acount or portreying themselves in a false manner, will be subject to immediate removal from this board, and banned indefinitely.
8. One of the main objectives for this forum is to have a safe place where pastors wives can be themselves, be encouraged, have fellowship and share ideas. It is our desire that every member be able to benefit from the fellowship on the forum. If you are not a participating member you will not be able to benefit therefore we will have a participation requirement. We are asking that all members post at least once every three months. Failure to meet the posting requirement will result in your account being deleted. If this should happen and at a later date you feel you have time to fully participate in the group we will be happy to welcome you back into our fellowship.
The webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to take legal action and report the person to their Internet Service Provider. This board maintains a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on the abuse of usernames, passwords and member accounts.
Consequences of Violating the above Terms and Guidelines
1. On your first offense your post will be deleted and you will be contacted privately via email explaining the reason for our action.
2. On your second similar offense your post will be deleted and we will publicly post the reason for our action on the forums.
3. On your third similar offense we will cancel your username (and take other measures) so that you can no longer post on the forums.
